We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Insurance Loss Adjuster to join our client's team in Swansea, UK. As a Loss Adjuster, you will play a crucial role in assessing insurance claims, investigating losses, and determining the extent of coverage under insurance policies. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Assessment:Â Conduct thorough investigations of insurance claims, including property damage, liability, and personal injury claims. Assess the validity of claims and determine coverage under insurance policies.
Site Inspections:Â Visit sites of losses to assess damage, gather evidence, and interview relevant parties. Document findings accurately and comprehensively.
Documentation and Reporting:Â Prepare detailed reports documenting investigation findings, assessment of losses, and recommendations for claim settlements. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Negotiation and Settlement:Â Negotiate claim settlements with policyholders, claimants, and other stakeholders. Work collaboratively with legal counsel and other professionals to resolve complex claims.
Customer Service:Â Provide excellent customer service to policyholders and claimants throughout the claims process. Address inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
Compliance and Regulations:Â Stay updated on relevant insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards. Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all aspects of claims handling.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
