A leading FinTech payments company is looking for a Head of Risk & Compliance to ensure regulatory adherence, risk mitigation, and compliance excellence. This role is crucial for navigating financial regulations, ensuring data security, and maintaining trust with regulators and customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee compliance frameworks, risk assessments, and regulatory reporting.

• Develop anti-money laundering (AML) and KYC strategies to ensure compliance.

• Manage relationships with financial regulators and ensure adherence to FCA requirements.

• Identify and mitigate risks across payment operations, data security, and financial transactions.

• Work closely with legal, operations, and product teams to integrate compliance into product development.

• Lead internal audits and prepare for regulatory inspections and reviews.

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in compliance, risk management, or regulatory affairs within payments or FinTech.

• In-depth knowledge of FCA regulations, AML policies, and PSD2 frameworks.

• Experience managing regulatory audits and risk governance.

• Strong ability to influence internal stakeholders and navigate regulatory landscapes.

• Certifications such as CAMS or ICA (preferred but not mandatory).
