We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounting Manager to join our client's fintech company in London. As the Accounting Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, experience in the fintech industry, and a proven track record of managing accounting functions in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.

  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Develop and implement accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support strategic initiatives, product launches, and business expansion.

  • Coordinate and manage external audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance processes.

  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to accounting team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in fintech.

Requirements
