About the Role

Job Summary:

The Finance Analyst will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and providing actionable recommendations to support informed decision-making. This role requires a strong foundation in finance, excellent quantitative skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively.


Responsibilities:

  • Gather, analyze, and interpret financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities.

  • Prepare detailed financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.

  • Assist in the preparation of presentations for senior management and stakeholders, conveying financial insights and recommendations.

  • Conduct thorough market research and competitor analysis to provide strategic insights for business growth.

  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates on financial performance to relevant stakeholders.

  • Support the development and refinement of pricing strategies, cost analysis, and profitability assessments.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements for regulatory reporting and compliance.

  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives, enhancing the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting and analysis.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, economic indicators, and changes in financial regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certification (CFA, CPA) is a plus.

  • years of experience as a Finance Analyst or in a similar financial analysis role.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis software, spreadsheet tools, and financial modeling.

  • Strong understanding of financial concepts, including financial statements, ratios, and valuation methods.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.

  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy in financial reporting and analysis.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate across departments.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Proficiency in using data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.


This role is only Part-Time 

Requirements

  • Proven track record of financial analysis experience, with documented examples of delivering insights that contributed to decision-making.

  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain complex financial models.

  • Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and valuation methods.

  • Experience in conducting variance analysis and financial performance assessments.

  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.

  • Familiarity with financial regulations and reporting standards.

  • Ability to interpret and present financial data in a clear and concise manner.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Adaptability to changing business priorities and a willingness to learn.
