About the Role



Job Summary:

As the Director of Operations, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational strategy and driving efficiency across our organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing various operational functions, leading teams, and collaborating cross-functionally to ensure seamless business processes. This role demands a forward-thinking individual who can balance strategic planning with hands-on execution.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the overall operations strategy in alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

  • Lead and mentor a diverse team of managers, supervisors, and individual contributors, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Drive operational excellence through the implementation of best practices, process improvements, and technological advancements.

  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development to ensure streamlined processes and effective communication.

  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish metrics to measure operational performance, regularly assessing progress and making data-driven decisions.

  • Optimise resource allocation to ensure maximum productivity and cost efficiency.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure a reliable supply chain and efficient procurement processes.

  • Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to ensure the company remains competitive and compliant.

  • Implement and maintain quality assurance standards to ensure products/services meet or exceed customer expectations.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction, employee engagement, and overall business performance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.

  • years of experience in operations management, with a proven track record of leading teams and driving operational excellence.

  • Strong understanding of operational principles, process optimisation, and performance metrics.

  • Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop a diverse workforce.

  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a strategic mindset.

  • Effective communication skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating across all levels of the organisation.

  • Proficiency in using technology and software tools for operations management and analysis.
