As a Financial Institution Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations and strategic direction of a financial institution in Central London, UK. Working closely with senior management, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the institution's financial stability, regulatory compliance, and overall success. Your key responsibilities will include:
Operational Oversight: Managing all aspects of the financial institution's operations, including customer service, loan processing, cash management, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Implementing policies and procedures to optimise efficiency and mitigate operational risks.
Financial Management: Overseeing the institution's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitoring key financial metrics and implementing strategies to improve profitability and achieve growth targets.
Risk Management: Identifying and assessing risks associated with the institution's activities, such as credit risk, market risk, and operational risk. Developing and implementing risk management strategies to safeguard the institution's assets and reputation.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards governing financial institutions. Keeping abreast of regulatory changes and proactively addressing compliance issues to mitigate legal and regulatory risks.
